It is located about 27 km northwest of downtown Toronto, in the neighboring city of Mississauga. Although there are a large number of lines that run to and from the Toronto airport, the best known are the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and Airport Express, which will allow you to access not only the downtown area but also different parts of the region. Within the airport you can also find a large number of companies that provide car rental services, to move around the city in comfort and safety.
You can access the counters of companies such as Avis, Budget, Dollar/Thrifty, Hertz and Nacional, distributed in the three terminals. On the other hand, Discount and Enterprise are located outside the airport and offer an efficient free pick-up service in vans, but you will have to make your reservation in advance.
Toronto - Pearson International Airport is located approximately 27 km northwest of downtown Toronto, in Mississauga. Transited by more than 35 million passengers each year, it was inaugurated in 1939 and is the busiest airport in the country. This airport is currently undergoing expansion and is the base of operations for Air Canada, with 3 terminals and 5 runways. A large number of flights depart daily from the airport to different parts of the country, as well as to the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico and all of Europe. The airport terminals are connected by a free shuttle bus service.
Distributed throughout the terminals you will find several ATMs, as well as some bank branches and currency exchange facilities. Internet access is also available at various locations throughout the terminals. The airport has a large number of cafes, restaurants and bars, as well as gift stores and Free Shops in all 3 terminals. You will also find information desks in all terminals.
The Toronto airport facilities are well prepared for this type of travelers, with wheelchair access ramps, TTY telephones, elevators and special toilets, as well as reserved spaces in all parking lots. Nevertheless, the different airlines offer personalized attention to their disabled customers.

When you arrive at the airport you can make hotel reservations through the counters located in the 3 terminals by telephone. Within the airport grounds there is only the Sheraton Gateway Hotel (tel: 905 672 7000), a few meters from T3. A few kilometers from the airport you will find other excellent hotels such as the Toronto Airport Milton, the Quality Hotel and Suites Toronto Airport East and the Toronto Marriott, among others.
Toronto Pearson International Airport has both indoor and outdoor short and long-stay parking facilities. With a capacity of over 11,000 vehicles, each terminal has its own parking lot.
The T1 parking lot is relatively small and is located a short distance from the T1 building. In T2 you will find a multi-level parking lot, usually used for short stays, with a daily rate of around US$19. The same type of parking is available at T3, but the rates for short-stay parking are higher.
A short distance from T3 is the economy parking for medium and long stays, connected to the terminals by a 24-hour shuttle bus service with wheelchair lifts. However, within walking distance of the airport there are several private companies that also offer parking such as:
