The Kingsford Smith International Airport or Sydney Airport is an airport station located in Mascot a neighborhood belonging to Sydney in Australia. is considered the main airport of that city and is the largest base of Qantas. Kingford Smith was named after Australian aviation pioneer Charles Kingsford Smith. It is the oldest public airport in the world and the largest in Australia with 26 million passengers per year.

Since 1933 the first runways were built inside the airport, while in 1966 a new terminal was built, officially inaugurated on May 3, 1970 in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II of England.

Sydney Airport is in Oceania and in Australia, the busiest airport in the country (in 2008 it registered approximately 32 million passengers). Of this part a great quantity of flights of cabotage of Australia, international flights, and to all the continents.

Some of the most prominent facilities within Sydney Airport are the International Terminal, which has currency exchange offices, as well as ATMs as in the other terminals.
