If your trip starts or ends outside of Chicago, then taking the regional bus may be your best option. There are several lines that transport passengers to Illinois, Indiana, lowa and Wisconsin. To get to downtown Chicago, you can take the so-called Blue Line, which runs from the lower level of the main parking garage. The cost of the ticket is $1.50 and the ride is approximately 45 minutes, making several stops along the way.
To access the departure site you must take the pedestrian tunnel from Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The service operates 24 hours a day. Another alternative is to take the Metra North Central regional train, which covers the route between the town of Antioch and Chicago's Union Station, through 5 formations that depart daily to the city center. Metra North Central trains also provide access to destinations such as Lake and Cook counties.
Taking a cab from O'Hare International Airport is easy and comfortable. They are located at the exit of each terminal. This service is available to the city of Chicago and suburban destinations. Chicago's O'Hare International Airport is located approximately 20 miles northwest of downtown and has been considered the best airport in the country by international travelers. It is one of the most active airports in the world and has 4 terminals among which there is one exclusively international, identified with numbers 1, 2, 3 and 5, the latter being the international one. Every year, more than 75 million people travel through it and there are several projects to improve and develop different areas.
Each one of the terminals operates with several companies that leave for a great variety of destinations, counting on an excellent and complete infrastructure. Within T1 you will find the airlines United Airlines, United Express Airlines and Lufthansa and it is the place where the subway tunnel is located, characteristic for its music and lights and that connects areas B and C, while T2 houses companies like Continental, Sun Country, Air Canada, ATA, Air Jamaica, US Airways, United and United Express/Great Lakes, America West and Northwest.
Terminal 3 concentrates companies such as Reno Air, Singapore, American Eagle, Transmeridian and American, while the International Terminal is occupied by Transmeridian, China Eastern, Air Canada, Air Ukraine, Sun Country, Royal Jordanian, Japan Airlines, Air France, LOT Polish, Mexicana, British Airways, KLM Royal Dutch, among many others.
The various terminals are connected to each other by the ATS train network which also connects to the various parking lots and the metro station.

The airport parking lot, distributed over several floors, is strategically located at the same distance from all terminals and can be parked by the hour, by the day and by valet. Long term parking is located at Bessie Coleman Drive and Zemke Road, while there is another parking lot within walking distance of the International Terminal. The connection between the parking lots and the terminals can be made via a free bus service or the train network (ATS).
Hourly parking costs $2.00 for the first hour, while full day parking costs about $60.00. This parking lot is located on the first level of the main garage. The daily parking can be covered or not (parking B and C) and has a cost of $21.00 per day. In the parking lot of the T International, located next to it, the cost is $3.00 the first hour and $29.00 per day.
In the Lot E area you will find the long term parking, where the costs are 12 dollars per day, while in the Lot F the cost is $8.00 per day. Within the Chicago International Airport there is only one hotel, the Hilton Chicago OÂ'Hare Airport (tel: 773 686 8000). However, at a short distance from the airport you can find a large number of hotels of all levels and prices, such as the Rosemont Suite Hotel O'Hare, the Four Points Hotel Sheraton, the Hampton Inn O'Hare, the Clarion Barceló Hotel, the O'Hare Marriott Hotel, among many others. Almost all hotels in the area have free airport shuttle service for their guests.
The O'Hare International Airport medical clinic can be visited by passengers who present an emergency.
It is located in the ticket office in Terminal 2. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5pm.
And on weekends and holidays from 9:00am to 5pm. No appointment is necessary.
